Disney Party: The Beginning (planning)

Hey Guys!

I hope you're excited because what I have lined up for you over the next couple of days- although, knowing me, it could take years- is gonna be pretty epic, not gonna lie.

I am making an event-organiser:
DISNEY-THEMED PARTY (mainly for kids or teens) -or extended cartoon theme at least.

Because I have experienced the wrath of party-planning, I understand the effort needed to pull off such extreme greatness (and you should know that is the absolute minimum of what I tend to pull off) so for me, to blog, this may take a while; hold your breaths.

Some aspects we will certainly be covering- as well as others I cannot currently remember- include:

  • invites
  • costumes
  • food
  • cake- yes they are absolutely two separate aspects
  • decoration & general DIY
  • activities
  • party bags
Today, we are obviously gonna start from the top with what you might consider to be the 'boring invitation section' but with me becomes 'the seriously enjoyable section in which one can make awesome invites that will be remembered forever as seriously awesome invites by the invitees'! Are you ready...?

First things first though, a bit of advice: party-planning is always more fun when you have a friend to do with it- so whether you have a friend who is willing to help a tremendous amount or someone whose birthday is near the time of yours, get together and have some fun doing it!

Sticking with the disney theme -or basically extended cartoons- we found some Pooh invites to put a bit of childish fun back into the idea of a party. You can use any type of princess, cars or generally disney invites- purchasable anywhere.

You will need to include: What, When, Where, Who...

What: Only the best party EVER!!

When: Timings wise- obviously depends on when your birthday is, but is best in the hotter summer months- and I advise, as you will later find out, a tea party is best late afternoon.

Where: *Insert address here*

Who: is the fun bit! This is where you get to revenge your friends with giving them awful dress codes. What we did is give them three movie options to choose from. Maybe gross ones like The Croods and Shrek- that have a potential good side, for example, pretty little Fiona.

Also take the time to decide for yourself what you want to dress as!

Once you have filled all this in, put in a clearly marked envelope and deliver- take advantage of this excuse to do a little bit of exercise, walking around on foot maybe... or nah?

Look out for more great posts, and I know this may seem a little bit childish, but go for it! The phrase YOLO is a lie, because loving Disney is definetly not restricted to young ch
ildren only!

Yours,
Truly xxx
