August Wish-list

Isn't summer just great?
-Agreed?
Agreed.

Well, I have been in Spain and whilst I -previously in my life- [wasted] 2 years learning spanish at school, I found myself completely, beyond-the-point-of-help lost in their language, struggling with even 'simple' words like Gracias... or is it Grathias?

Anyway, I shall crack on with August's Awesome Styles:

Loving these light blue ripped cropped boyfriend jeans for just £10 from New Look! As you DO know, boyfriend/ mum jeans are so definitely this summer's must-haves so grab yourself a pair from the shops OR live up to the true name of these jeans, and borrow a pair from your boyfriend/ mum's old wardrobe. But now I'm gonna do a spot of my magnificent mind-reading and guess that you may be thinking [or not] that jeans are far too heavy for the summer. My answer: oh no! These jeans are a perfect balance, being slightly on the big side, they are an airy resolution.

Next, elegant black bardot slightly-off-the-shoulder crop top (also from New Look) is great to show off that post-holiday [fake] tan and adds a little excitement -even though it is only black- to an otherwise dull outfit. You can style this top with any of the below features: boyfriend jeans, paisley print tourers AND textured Jacquard wrap/ skort...

...Also add a bit of chunky jewellery like this 'luxury flower chunky exaggerated statement bib necklace' from £14.99 on ebay- or just look for something similar. PARFAIT! (my french is better than my spanish)

These gorgeous paisley print trousers are my favourite; great for all categories, from festival-goers, to stay-at-home bores (I know my single attempt at rhyming failed miserably) {"Oh my! Thats was an attempt to rhyme?"}, to jazzy style-hunters to vintage... peeps. Loose and light, on the slightly colder days, -and I can assure you that here in England, there absolutely will be 'slightly' (under-statement of the century) colder days- with a bonus stylish summer print; <3

This mint green Jacquard wrap skort is a great way of subtly showing off those long, tanned [I hope] legs of yours with a bit of class whilst continuing the pastel summer-colour trend. You can also take advantage of the skort, by wearing it when taking part in your  exercise- the elegant way, without flashing dramatically.

And pictured here is Nike's Hyper Poncho in Pink, from Urban Outfitters. OKAY, so it's £75, but... just look at it!  This poncho by sportswear legend Nike combines iconic and directional design with durable wearability, citing ‘90s influences for a contemporary yet retro look. Enough said...

...Yet, I'll have to add about the gorgeous shoes also <3 Not only are these Nike flyknit trainers attractive enough to make me actually want to do exercise (which I can assure is a miracle in itself), but if you do ever manage to do some exercise, they're spongy and bouncy and quite good fun to be honest!

Finally, these pink-lemonade Wolf & York wellies are a jazzy alternative to lighten up your festival style. Don't be boring and go with the dull green and black wellingtons -which deserve the long, boring name-, grab a pair of these from just £7.49 at surfdomeshop.

I hope you enjoy these styles just as much as I do,

Yours,
Truly xxx
