I thought I would embrace the opportunity by helping you along, with my own Apps Review, or basically just some recommendations of free Apps thats I have and like.Games & General Entertainment:
- Flappy Bird; is what everyone is currently raving about- an extremely difficult and addictive game, in which the aim is to guide a pixilated bird through the gaps between some random tubes that happen to grow from the ground, by tapping the screen aggressively and frequently... get it at your own peril.
- Subway Surf; on a lighter note, subway surf is blatantly the better and more interesting version of Temple Run and although it is 'old', I think its pretty fine.
- UnBlock Me; OK, so I know this is mega sad, but you know when you're really bored, put your mind at ease -well, not really- with this logistic puzzle thing, although Im not really sure if 'logistic' is the right word.
- BBC iPlayer, 4OD, etc.; particularly for long journeys, if you download stuff of iPlayer, internet access is not necessary, so it comes in quite handy tbh.
- Pocket Workout; this is my favourite thing for a little bit of easy exercise. Whilst payment is needed for the more advanced levels, us lazy cheap-skates find Pocket-Workout brill in the meantime! A range of exercises for all body parts at a simple level,
- Blogger OBVS!!!; go on your favourite blogging sites (e.g. www.trewleesensation.blogspot.com) , make your own and have a little fun.
- Newsstand; keep up-to-date with the newest news, fahion tips, style advice etc. with your won range of magazines. Some are pretty rubbish because they just make you pay for subscriptions but I gathered: Company Mag, ELLE, Grazia etc.
- Vogue; because Vogue is so extra, it decided to make its own app rather than being part of the usual Newsstand which is a bit annoying, but if necessary, I'm sure all fashion-appreciators will agree.
- Spotify; whilst the continuously popping-up adverts are really annoying, Spotify is acc quite good to get music from and listen to- you know the way, youtube stops paying as soon as you press home.
- Pages; this app means you can open word docs and other format files on the move, edit them and easily make more so try it out
- Translate and iVoice; both are brill. I recommend iVoice especially for those going on holiday to country where another language is spoken, as iVoice has really useful and simple phrases to learn and access easily.
